Job Description
Job Title: SAP Developer Role Summary: Responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining ABAP applications on SAP HANA or S/4HANA environments, including upgrade tasks, greenfield and conversion projects, and new SAP technologies such as Fiori/SAPUI5, BTP, ABAP on HANA, CDS, and OData services. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality, standards‑compliant ABAP code. - Participate actively in functional and technical testing of upgrades. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on system conversions and greenfield implementations. - Stay current with SAP product standards, cloud quality, and emerging technologies. - Adhere to coding guidelines and best practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and enhance ABAP modules, leveraging OOP on NW 7.5. 2. Perform S/4HANA upgrade activities: Unicode conversion, SPAU/SPDD, basis‑level support. 3. Design and implement CDS views, OData services, and AMDP routines. 4. Integrate Fiori/SAPUI5 user interfaces with backend services. 5. Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing of new and upgraded components. 6. Maintain documentation, code reviews, and knowledge transfer. 7. Support cloud integrations (BTP) and ensure adherence to SAP coding guidelines. Required Skills: - SAP HANA or S/4HANA development experience. - ABAP OOP (NW 7.5) and classic ABAP skills. - SAP upgrade tools: Unicode conversion, SPAU/SPDD, ABAP baseline upgrades. - Functional testing of SAP upgrades. - Creation of CDS views, OData services, and AMDP. - Fiori/SAPUI5 UI development. - SAP BTP knowledge (cloud services, integration). - Understanding of SAP coding standards, cloud quality parameters. - Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
