Job Description

Job title: SQL Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server database environments and enterprise‑level ETL solutions, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and seamless integration across heterogeneous systems. Expactations: - Minimum 7 years of professional experience in SQL Server database design, development, and performance tuning. - Proven expertise in SSIS package design, deployment, and troubleshooting. - Strong client‑side and server‑side development capabilities, including REST/SOAP web services, C#, .NET (Standard & Core), JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Demonstrated ability to integrate data from APIs, flat files, cloud storage, and big data platforms (e.g., HDFS). - Familiarity with healthcare data interchange standards (HL7, FHIR, CCDA) is advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Build and optimize T‑SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database objects. - Design, author, and maintain SSIS packages for data ingestion, transformation, and loading. - Implement data governance practices, indexing strategies, and performance tuning across databases. - Develop and consume REST/ SOAP services and centralize data flow via message bus technologies. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data from disparate sources (APIs, files, cloud, HDFS). - Document data flows, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines. Required Skills: - Advanced SQL Server development (T‑SQL, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning). - Expertise in SSIS for ETL design, deployment, and debugging. - Proficiency in C#, .NET Standard & .NET Core, REST API development. - Skilled with JavaScript/TypeScript and client‑side frameworks/tools. - Solid understanding of data integration techniques (APIs, flat files, cloud, HDFS). - Experience with message bus patterns and technologies. - Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and CCDA standards (preferred). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). - Certifications in SQL Server, SSIS, or Microsoft Azure data services are a plus.
