Job Title: Back End Developer (AWS Node.js Developer)
Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure serverless back‑end services on AWS utilizing Node.js, Lambda, and API Gateway to support contact‑center and API workloads.
Expectations: 7–10 years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend or serverless architectures; strong Node.js skill set and proven delivery of production‑grade cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain serverless Node.js applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and related services.
• Design, expose, and secure RESTful APIs and event‑driven workflows via Amazon EventBridge, Kinesis, or Kafka.
• Integrate backend services with Amazon Connect and third‑party APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and event handling.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (Terraform, CloudFormation, CodePipeline) and enforce DevOps best practices.
• Monitor application health with CloudWatch, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance and availability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Required Skills:
• Proficient in Node.js (ES6+) and building async serverless functions.
• Deep experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB, IAM.
• Expertise in event‑driven architecture (Amazon EventBridge, Kinesis Streams/Firehose, or Kafka).
• Strong design and consumption of REST APIs, JSON-based integrations, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, authentication, compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI).
Required Education & Certifications:
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred).
