Job Description
Job title: Sales Manager, SMB & Mid-Market Role Summary: Lead and develop a high‑performing SMB/Mid‑Market Account Executive team to achieve revenue targets, manage the full sales cycle, and align cross‑functional efforts. Expactations: - Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals. - Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting. - Foster a culture of consultative selling and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Mentor, coach, and evaluate a team of 5–10 Account Executives. - Optimize inbound lead handling and outbound prospecting processes. - Guide prospects through all stages of the sales cycle, from discovery to onboarding. - Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and BD units to shape messaging, campaign execution, and account strategies. - Analyze sales metrics, identify gaps, and implement data‑driven process improvements. - Serve as escalation point for complex deals and key client relationships. Required Skills: - 2+ years of sales team management in SMB/Mid‑Market, preferably SaaS or tech. - Demonstrated record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. - Strong leadership, coaching, and talent‑development abilities. - Expertise in consultative selling, technical and executive stakeholder engagement. - Proficient with CRM systems and data analysis for decision making. - Knowledge of account‑based sales and multi‑party deal dynamics. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. - Sales or leadership certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Leader, SPIN Selling) preferred.
