Job Description

Job title: DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Build and maintain reproducible cloud‑native environments on GCP, automate infrastructure, and streamline CI/CD pipelines to support scalable, high‑availability product delivery. Expactations: - Deliver 100% consistency across development and production environments. - Proactively identify and eliminate manual processes. - Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, performant systems. Key Responsibilities: - Provision and manage GCP resources (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL) and equivalent AWS services. - Optimize Docker configurations to mirror local development setups. - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows for automated builds and deployments. - Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure high availability. - Troubleshoot and maintain Linux‑based servers and containerized workloads. - Document infrastructure as code and automation processes for knowledge transfer. Required Skills: - Hands‑on experience with GCP (preferred) or AWS. - Strong Docker expertise and container orchestration knowledge. - Automation scripting in Python or comparable language. - Linux system administration and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). - Passion for automation, documentation, and continuous improvement. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Associate/Professional Cloud Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred.
