Job Description
**Job Title** Cybersecurity Compliance Control Assessor **Role Summary** Conduct end‑to‑end security assessments against multiple industry and government standards. Identify vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and infrastructure, and provide actionable remediation guidance to stakeholders. Automate assessment processes and collaborate with clients to deliver compliance documentation and audit evidence. **Expectations** - Perform comprehensive compliance assessments for internal and third‑party audits. - Produce and maintain security plans, roadmaps, policies, and procedures. - Deliver evidence and remediation reports to support audit readiness. - Recommend and implement process or solution changes to enhance compliance posture. **Key Responsibilities** - Verify solution compliance with frameworks such as NIST SP 800‑53, CMS MARS‑E 2.2, FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI, State RAMP, SOC 2 Type II. - Prepare security documentation: security plans, POA&M, roadmaps, policies, standards, procedures. - Collect and analyze evidence, conduct stakeholder interviews, and assess security and privacy posture. - Automate compliance assessments using GRC tools. - Obtain approvals for cybersecurity artifacts and maintain audit trails. - Provide implementation recommendations for new or updated processes and solutions. **Required Skills** - 2–5 years’ experience in security and privacy compliance assessments. - Proficiency with controls architecture, design, and testing. - Knowledge of at least one cybersecurity domain (e.g., IAM, cloud security, application security). - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Familiarity with GRC automation tools. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or relevant compliance certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
