Job Description
**Job Title** Sales Account Manager – IT, Cloud, Data, SaaS **Role Summary** Drive revenue growth by managing and expanding enterprise client accounts within the IT, cloud, data, and SaaS sectors. Leverage existing relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. **Expectations** - Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas. - Consistently increase account penetration and average deal size. - Maintain a robust pipeline and accurate forecasting. - Collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams to deliver tailored solutions. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Account Development** – Build and nurture long‑term client relationships with C‑level and technical stakeholders. 2. **Opportunity Management** – Identify, qualify, and prioritize sales opportunities across existing and new accounts. 3. **Negotiation & Closing** – Lead contract negotiations, handle objections, and secure signed agreements. 4. **Cross‑sell & Upsell** – Promote additional products and services to maximize account value. 5. **Performance Reporting** – Track key metrics, update CRM, and provide regular sales forecasts to management. **Required Skills** - Proven track record of closing enterprise software deals (minimum 3+ years in B2B tech sales). - Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Deep understanding of IT, cloud, data, and SaaS solutions. - Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and analytics tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. - Sales certifications such as Certified Inside Sales Professional (CIS) or a relevant product‑specific credential are strongly preferred.
