Job Description
Job Title: ServiceNow Developer (Hybrid) Role Summary: Design, develop, configure, test, implement, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with business and IT teams to translate operational needs into functional solutions, deploy releases, and ensure continuous platform health and performance. Expections: Deliver high‑quality ServiceNow enhancements on schedule, maintain platform stability, adhere to IT standards and governance, and provide effective support and training to end users and administrators. Key Responsibilities: - Design and configure ServiceNow modules and services to meet business requirements. - Develop custom scripts, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, UI actions, and integrations using JavaScript, REST, and SOAP. - Manage release cycles: gather requirements, build update sets, conduct UAT, and deploy new releases. - Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting; resolve defects and performance issues. - Maintain administrators tasks: user/role management, workflow updates, data quality, and backup procedures. - Monitor platform usage, performance metrics, and SLA compliance; generate and review operational reports. - Provide day‑to‑day support, knowledge sharing, and documentation for end users and technical staff. Required Skills: - Strong ServiceNow development and administrative skills (JavaScript, GlideRecord, UI/Client scripts, integration). - Experience with ITSM processes and ServiceNow best practices. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions. - Proficient troubleshooting and debugging. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology. - ServiceNow System Administrator Certification. - Minimum 3 years of experience in IT application support or ServiceNow support.
