Job Description
**Job Title** Front Office Agent **Role Summary** Provide exceptional guest service during check‑in, check‑out, and all front office transactions while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to hotel policies. **Expectations** - Deliver a consistently positive, professional image and outstanding guest interactions. - Act independently, exercising judgment to resolve guest complaints and disputes. - Follow all departmental procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards. - Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and the physical stamina required for full‑time shifts. **Key Responsibilities** - Check guests in and out efficiently, prepare accurate financial documents, and accept cash/credit payments. - Keep guest information, reservations, and billing data confidential and secure. - Respond to guest inquiries, provide directions, and offer assistance on hotel and casino services. - Upsell room types and ancillary services to enhance revenue. - Resolve guest complaints quickly, escalating only when necessary, to maintain satisfaction. - Perform cash handling duties, ensuring accurate bank totals and reconciliation. - Operate front‑desk reservation and management systems and maintain overnight logs. - Attend mandatory training and stay updated on policy changes. - Maintain seamless communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments. **Required Skills** - Excellent verbal and written communication in English. - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and front‑desk reservation software (e.g., RMS). - Strong cash‑handling accuracy and experience in high‑volume environments. - Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Demonstrated interpersonal skills with focus on guest needs. - Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts amicably. - Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods. - (Optional) Proficiency in a second language. **Required Education & Certifications** - High‑school diploma or GED. - Front‑desk or hospitality service experience. - Experience with PMS/booking systems preferred. - Valid U.S. work authorization.
