SCG South West is a division of the Southern Communications Group. Southern Communications was established in 1965 as a supplier of business-to-business communications products and services. In December 2021, SCG acquired Cirencester-based Horizon Telecoms, followed by Stonehouse-based Eurolink Connect in April 2022, and Bristol-based Channel Comms in December 2022. The trio combine to form the SCG South West division, continuing under the leadership of Claire Maddox, Managing Director, formerly of Eurolink Connect. Combining the three teams together has provided clients with enhanced regional coverage, at the same time combining staff resource, increasing the skills of the senior leadership team, and extending the product range and skills offering to support your business. For you, these changes are part of our drive to increase and improve our service offering, expand our customer service team, and achieve our commercial objective to be a business with purpose. This includes our move towards net zero and our commitment to ESG. SCG are leaders within the industry, operating their own diverse network and hosted telephony platform, with strong partnerships with leading network providers. They are a Tier 2 ISP, giving the group the skills and experience to deliver unified communications. **Job Title** Business Development Executive **Role Summary** Drive revenue growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities across SCG's product portfolio.
