**Job Title**
PSA Engineer – Network Transmission / Distribution (UK/EU Hybrid-Remote) – SCADA Focus
**Role Summary**
Provide technical expertise in PSA, SCADA, and ADMS systems to support large‑scale modernization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives across the UK and EU transmission and distribution networks. Work within hybrid delivery models, collaborating with on‑site and offshore teams to design, implement, integrate, and maintain utilities enterprise software solutions.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality PSA and SCADA system solutions that meet project objectives and industry standards.
- Operate efficiently in a hybrid (remote/onsite) environment, coordinating with distributed teams.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, offering clear technical guidance and status updates.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, configure, and deploy PSA, SCADA, and ADMS platforms across transmission and distribution assets.
- Integrate systems with existing enterprise architecture, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Conduct system performance analysis, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to meet reliability and safety requirements.
- Manage testing, verification, and validation activities, including unit, integration, and system testing plans.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation (design specs, configuration guides, change logs).
- Provide training and support to field personnel and system operators on new capabilities.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and resource estimation activities.
**Required Skills**
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering and power system operations.
- Hands‑on experience with PSA, SCADA, and ADMS utilities software.
- Proficiency in system configuration, data modeling, and interface development.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in hybrid delivery models.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Professional certifications in SCADA, PSA, or utilities technology (e.g., CSSA, FERC, or equivalent) are highly regarded.
