**Job Title** Business Development Representative **Role Summary** The BDR is the first sales contact, creating new opportunities for Field Effect’s Managed Detection & Response solution. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for Account Executives, driving pipeline growth in a metric‑driven sales environment. **Expectations** - Deliver a high daily call volume (100+ calls). - Meet or exceed quarterly quota for qualified opportunities. - Maintain complete and accurate records in the CRM. - Provide consistent weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting. - Collaborate with teammates and senior sales staff to refine skills and tactics. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect and qualify decision makers in MSP, VAR, and SMB accounts. - Qualify marketing‑qualified leads and conduct proactive outbound outreach. - Schedule meetings for Account Executives, converting interactions into measurable sales pipeline. - Understand and articulate prospects’ pain points and explain how the product addresses them. - Use the sales playbook, participate in role‑play and coaching sessions, and continuously improve sales technique. - Manage and update account information in the CRM (ZoomInfo Engage, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft Dynamics). - Report results and insights on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. - Maintain a hybrid presence at the office twice a week and attend occasional partner or industry events. **Required Skills** - Prior experience in a sales or metric‑driven role (minimum 1‑2 years). - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly. - Self‑starter with high sense of urgency and proactive attitude toward sales. - Excellent organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and details. - Tech‑savvy; comfortable with CRM tools and sales technology stack. - Team player who welcomes feedback and shares insights. **Required Education & Certifications** - No specific degree or certification mandated; preference for a relevant bachelor’s degree may be considered. ---
