Job Description
**Job Title** Social Law Jurist (Labor Law Specialist) **Role Summary** Provide expert legal support in French labor law to the Hospital HR team, managing both collective and individual labor matters, drafting legal documentation, advising on compliance with collective agreements, and ensuring timely, accurate legal advice across multiple concurrent workstreams. **Expactations** - Deliver precise legal guidance within deadlines. - Maintain the highest level of confidentiality. - Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks. - Communicate clearly with HR, management, employee representatives, and legal teams. - Self‑directed and able to work on several projects simultaneously. **Key Responsibilities** - Interpret and apply the applicable branch collective agreement, company agreements, customs, and unilateral commitments to resolve labor disputes. - Prepare technical dossiers for CSE meetings, including expertise reports, negotiation terms, and training follow‑ups. - Handle individual labor matters: review specific situations, draft correspondence to employees, manage disciplinary procedures, and assess work‑related health issues (accidents, medical fitness, etc.). - Assist HR in alerting or investigative procedures, including submission of incident declarations. - Offer ongoing legal analysis on evolving employment legislation and internal policy adjustments. - Interface with the HR director, deputy HR, and other stakeholders to provide advice and recommendations. **Required Skills** - In‑depth knowledge of French labor law and collective bargaining framework. - Strong legal research and drafting abilities. - Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. - Familiarity with health‑care industry regulatory environment is an advantage. - Proficiency in French; English competence desirable. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master II (or equivalent) in Labor Relations, Employment Law, or Social Law from a recognized university. - Current legal qualification to practice French employment law. - Previous corporate legal experience (minimum 1‑2 years) preferred. ---
