**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Engineer / SRE
**Role Summary:**
Design, automate, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. Build self‑healing systems, implement IaC best practices, and collaborate with development teams to support continuous delivery pipelines.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
- Proven track record with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, CloudFront).
- Hands‑on expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Python, Go, Shell).
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Strong background in security compliance, multi‑account and multi‑region AWS architectures.
- Familiarity with service meshes (Istio, App Mesh) and the AWS Well‑Architected Framework.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC.
- Automate incident response, remediation, and recovery workflows.
- Design and enforce security and compliance controls across environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable releases.
- Monitor system health, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define RTO/RPO, capacity planning, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
- Lead capacity and cost‑optimization initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- AWS core services: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, CloudFront.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform, Ansible (or equivalent).
- Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration fundamentals.
- Strong Linux systems and networking knowledge.
- Programming/scripting: Python, Go, Shell (Bash).
- Experience with service meshes (Istio, App Mesh).
- Security and compliance best practices in AWS.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to design resilient architectures.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- AWS certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
