Job Description
**Job Title**: Evolve Graduate Programme (Built Environment) **Role Summary** A two‑year graduate pathway designed to integrate new graduates into the built environment sector. Graduates will rotate through real‑world projects covering Building Services Engineering, Project Management, Cost Management / Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Civil and Structural Engineering, Town and Country Planning, and Digital Engineering (BIM). The programme blends hands‑on project work, structured mentorship, and professional development to fast‑track expertise and career progression. **Expectations** * Begin full‑time employment on 5 October 2026. * Hold a permanent UK Right to Work; no visa sponsorship required. * Possess a 2:1 or higher bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a discipline relevant to any offered specialty. * Demonstrate curiosity, a strong learning mindset, and a genuine passion for shaping the built environment. * Attend virtual assessments and in‑person interviews as scheduled; be available for assessments due by 14 December 2025. **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate on live projects with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors across all specialisations. * Perform site inspections, data collection, and initial analyses for project delivery. * Assist with cost estimation, quantity take‑offs, and budget monitoring. * Support BIM modelling and digital asset management tasks. * Aid in civil and structural design calculations and documentation. * Help prepare planning applications, environmental assessments, and compliance reports. * Attend scheduled CPD activities (webinars, workshops, masterclasses) and track progress against the personal development plan. * Serve as a STEM ambassador, representing the firm at industry events and influencing future talent pipelines. * Engage with the graduate community and participate in networking and peer‑learning initiatives. **Required Skills** * Strong communication and teamwork abilities; comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams. * Analytical and problem‑solving mindset; ready to translate academic knowledge into practical solutions. * Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technical tools and processes. * Basic proficiency in digital tools (e.g., BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar). * Time‑management and organisational skills to juggle multiple project tasks. * Initiative and leadership potential; willingness to take ownership of tasks and contribute to continuous improvement. **Required Education & Certifications** * 2:1 or higher bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Town & Country Planning, Building Surveying, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent. * UK permanent Right to Work. * No specific professional certification required at entry; programme offers support for industry‑related apprenticeships, master’s studies, and chartership pathways. ---
