MCHS responds to the needs of abused and neglected children in Michigan by providing an array of housing, educational, clinical and therapeutic services. We have a mission to provide individualized treatment, care, advocacy, and permanency to children and families impacted by childhood trauma. Job Description
Job title: Intern - Marketing and Development Internship (Fall 2025/Spring 2026) Role Summary: Supports marketing and development functions for a service organization serving children and families affected by trauma. Acts as a partner to senior staff in executing campaigns, materials, and outreach events. Expactations: - Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Development, or related field. - Ability to commute to Redford. - Eager to learn and adapt to new tasks. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Flexible scheduling for seasonal assignments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing collateral (brochures, newsletters, social media posts). 2. Support event planning and coordination for community outreach and fundraising events. 3. Conduct research on target audiences and competitive landscape. 4. Manage and update content across internal and external communication platforms. 5. Provide administrative support to the marketing and development teams. 6. Track and report on campaign metrics and provide basic analysis.
