Job Description
**Job Title** Accounting Intern **Role Summary** Part‑time intern supporting Accounts Receivable operations. Responsibilities include creating, sending and reconciling invoices in the ERP system, investigating billing discrepancies, maintaining documentation, recording bank transactions, and collaborating with Finance and IT teams. **Expectations** - Execute billing and accounting tasks accurately and on schedule. - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities. - Adapt to varied customer billing systems and resolve cost issues. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Prepare and issue invoices for construction material and labor to industrial clients. 2. Verify contract rates and validate supporting documentation. 3. Adapt invoicing to customer portals, email or postal systems. 4. Research and resolve job‑cost discrepancies. 5. Record and reconcile bank transactions. 6. Collaborate with Finance and IT on system and data requirements. 7. Perform general administrative duties as assigned. **Required Skills** - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Organizational and time‑management skills. - Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines. - Discretion with confidential information. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in secondary education program with accounting or business coursework (construction accounting coursework or experience is a plus).
