Job Description
**Job title** Intern – Social Media Marketing **Role Summary** Assist the healthcare professionals division in planning, creating, and managing social media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. Conduct audience research, develop editorial calendars, post content, engage with followers, and report analytics to support marketing objectives. **Expectations** - 15–20 hours per week during academic term, 40 hours during summer. - Year‑round availability. - Completed at least one year of college coursework in marketing or a related field. - Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small, fast‑moving team. - U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Perform audience research to inform content strategy. 2. Monitor and manage daily social media activity for the healthcare professionals division. 3. Create and maintain editorial calendars for scheduled posts. 4. Brainstorm, produce, and publish engaging content on multiple platforms. 5. Interact with the online audience, responding to comments and messages. 6. Track and analyze social media metrics; prepare performance reports. 7. Participate in internal and community events to enhance brand presence. 8. Support additional marketing initiatives as assigned. **Required Skills** - Strong written and verbal communication. - Creative and strategic thinking; problem‑solving ability. - Organizational and time‑management skills. - Experience with social media engagement (preferred). - Adaptability to new tools, tactics, and evolving platform algorithms. - Resourceful, hands‑on execution capability in team environments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of one year of college study in marketing, communications, public relations, or related discipline. - Certification in digital marketing or social media management is a plus but not mandatory.
