Job Title: Controlling Intern Role Summary: Internship providing practical experience in controlling and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on data analysis, reporting automation, fixed asset auditing, and SAP maintenance over a 10‑12 week period. Expectations: - Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field. - Rising junior, senior, or graduating senior status. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Power BI proficiency highly recommended; SAP experience considered a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Process Order Variance (POV) dashboards in Power BI to replace manual reporting. - Conduct fixed asset audits for a specified product line, identify retirement or accelerated depreciation needs, and properly tag assets. - Update component scrap rates in SAP Bill of Materials (BOMs) and recipes to reduce assembly scrap percentage. - Prepare and deliver a presentation summarizing internship activities and outcomes to the department. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling). - Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation. - Basic SAP interface knowledge (BOM and recipe management). - Data analysis and audit techniques. - Effective written and verbal communication. Required Education & Certifications: - Enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline. - No specific certifications required; SAP and Power BI skills are considered beneficial.
