Job Description
Job title: Application Developer Contract Role Summary: Independent contractor to develop and maintain Python-based backend services and data pipelines, design and implement front-end interfaces using React/Next.js, and integrate LLM-driven scoring, retrieval, and embedding workflows into an AI-driven cultural alignment platform. Expactations: Deliver high-quality, scalable code; collaborate closely with AI/ML and front‑end teams; iterate on vector database indexing and performance; produce polished UI/UX components; support hybrid/remote development schedule. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain Python backend services and ETL pipelines. • Design and enhance front‑end UI/UX components (React/Next.js or comparable). • Develop and tune LLM-driven scoring, retrieval, and embedding workflows. • Index, query, and optimize vector database operations. • Collaborate on architecture decisions and technical road‑mapping. Required Skills: • Proficient in Python and related frameworks. • Strong experience in front‑end development (React, Next.js, or similar). • Knowledge of LLM integration and workflow orchestration. • Experience or willingness to work with vector search/embedding technologies. • Familiarity with data pipelines, database indexing, and performance tuning. • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
