Job Description
Job title: Events & Youth Engagement Intern Role Summary: Contribute to the planning, execution, and post‑event follow‑up of public awareness events, sporting and cultural festivals, and online youth campaigns; develop engaging digital content and support the coordination of volunteer teams and external partners. Expectations: Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and adapt quickly in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in event logistics (materials, catering, transport, etc.) and on‑site operations. - Recruit, schedule, and brief volunteers for event support. - Coordinate relationships with participants, partners, and suppliers; handle post‑event communications and feedback. - Produce creative content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch). - Organize livestreams and online events, providing technical and creative support. - Develop outreach materials for university engagement and youth‑focused campaigns. - Conduct basic benchmarking of digital content and maintain content calendars. Required Skills: - Strong written communication and organizational abilities. - Creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail. - Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. - Knowledge of current social media and digital trends. - Proactive, solution‑oriented, and capable of working independently. - Fluency in English and either French or Dutch (written and spoken). Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrolment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in communication, marketing, public relations, project or event management, or a related field.
