Job title: Sage FRP1000 Developer (M/F)
Role Summary
Develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom applications and enhancements for Sage FRP1000. Collaborate with functional and client teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring secure, documented, and version-controlled deliverables.
Expectations
Minimum 4 years of professional development experience on Sage FRP1000. Proven ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills in French and English. Willingness to travel to client sites for deployment, training, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze functional specifications and translate them into technical designs for Sage, SQL Server, and Microsoft environments.
- Develop, test, and document new features, bug fixes, and enhancements following industry standards.
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, user guides, and release notes.
- Estimate effort, prepare detailed notes of work, and manage project deliverables against client expectations.
- Deploy solutions in client environments, perform user acceptance testing, and ensure seamless production rollout.
- Provide ongoing corrective and evolutionary maintenance; handle onsite and remote client assistance.
- Enforce data security and integrity across all developed components.
- Manage source code protection, versioning, and release management.
- Coordinate with functional teams during development and support phases.
- Participate in pre‑sales support, cost estimation, and solution demonstrations.
- Conduct user training sessions and maintain knowledge base for client engagement.
- Support other technical teams with tele‑assistance, issue resolution, and general maintenance tasks.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with Sage FRP 1000 development (coding, customization, integration).
- Strong SQL Server expertise (database design, query optimization, stored procedures).
- Familiarity with Microsoft stack (Windows Server, .NET, PowerShell).
- Proficient in application development lifecycle: analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and user manuals.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage client relationships and deliver training.
- Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Comfortable working in an Agile or iterative environment.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Professional certification or proven experience in Sage FRP 1000 development is preferred.
