Job Description: Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain the core backend systems that drive an AI‑powered workforce platform, enabling scalable APIs, data pipelines, and automation to support thousands of small business customers. Expectations: Own end‑to‑end delivery of high‑volume, reliable services; collaborate with a tight founding team; articulate technical concepts clearly; continuously research emerging AI and cloud technologies; maintain a culture of excellence and meticulous detail. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement scalable RESTful/gRPC APIs for internal and external integration of products, voice, reasoning, and context modules. - Design robust data flows and pipelines that supply agent context and decision‑making engines. - Develop backend infrastructure for knowledge crawling, extraction, enrichment, and intelligent automation. - Contribute to DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, cloud provisioning, observability, monitoring, and incident response. - Evaluate and adopt new AI tools and frameworks to keep product capabilities at the cutting edge. Required Skills: - Strong backend development in Python or JavaScript (Node.js). - Deep understanding of DevOps principles: CI/CD, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure as code, observability, and monitoring. - Proven ownership of a high‑volume production system, including scaling, reliability, and performance optimization. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Exceptional problem‑solving, analytical mindset, and keen attention to detail. - Passion for AI, machine learning, and emerging tech; self‑driven curiosity. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, or AI are desirable but not mandatory.
