Job Title: Vice President of Sales Role Summary: Strategic leader responsible for expanding and managing B2B sales through a network of over 1,000 showrooms and 16 manufacturing agencies, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and high‑value project closure. Expectations: Deliver a compelling sales strategy, close large, complex projects, build robust partner relationships, and lead the internal sales organization toward continuous improvement and measurable results. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute sales strategy for North American showroom and wholesale network. - Manage and grow 16 manufacturing agencies (~50 sales reps). - Identify and seize new territorial and product opportunities. - Build and sustain relationships with key distributors, showroom owners, designers, architects, and specification professionals. - Negotiate and close high‑margin, long‑cycle projects (e.g., hotels, condos, residential developments). - Collaborate with the CEO on strategic priorities and report progress directly. - Lead the internal sales team, optimize CRM and sales processes, and align with marketing and operations. - Provide training, tools, and marketing support to partners. - Resolve complex issues and conduct strategic negotiations at trade shows and industry events. Required Skills: - 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience, including leadership and proven attainment of revenue targets. - Expertise in closing long‑cycle, high‑margin sales for premium products. - Strong ability to network and maintain relationships with distributors, designers, and architects. - Fluent in French and English (spoken and written). - Self‑directed, proactive problem‑solver with initiative and the ability to navigate ambiguity. - Strategic thinker capable of adjusting tactics to changing market conditions. - Experience managing sales teams in manufacturing or agency environments is preferred. - Experience in home‑products, design, architecture, or construction markets is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred). - Relevant sales certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Leader, SPIN Selling) are a plus.
