**Job Title**
Solutions and Implementation Engineer
**Role Summary**
Serve as the technical liaison between sales, product, and customers, handling end‑to‑end customer adoption of a QA‑management SaaS platform. Lead technical discovery, demos, proof‑of‑concepts, onboarding, implementation, and post‑sales support while ensuring security, compliance, and scalability.
**Expectations**
* Align some schedule with Eastern Standard Time (7 AM–4 PM).
* Demonstrate strong coding, cloud, and QA expertise in fast‑moving startup context.
* Back up sales with proactive technical insight and proactive post‑sale support.
* Identify upsell opportunities and provide data‑driven adoption strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**
*Pre‑Sales*
- Co‑lead discovery calls, capture pain points, and design tailored demos.
- Manage POCs: data setup, integrations, success criteria.
- Draft RFP/RFI responses; complete security questionnaires.
*Post‑Sales*
- Own onboarding: scope, architecture, migration, and UAT execution.
- Configure environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and sustain infrastructure.
- Develop playbooks, timelines, success metrics; resolve escalated issues.
- Conduct workshops for admins, QA, developers; create customized training.
*Technical*
- Engineer scripts, troubleshoot APIs, authentication, infrastructure.
- Design solution architecture; estimate costs.
- Write technical documentation: integration guides, architecture diagrams, playbooks.
*Collaboration*
- Relay customer feedback to Sales, Product, & Success teams.
- Track usage trends; recommend optimization tactics.
**Required Skills**
*Technical*
- QA/Test Management Systems (TMS) knowledge, including API, CI/CD & issue trackers.
- Coding/scripting in Python or JavaScript.
- Cloud deployment experience (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure acceptable).
- Familiarity with GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001.
*Customer‑Facing*
- Clear technical communication to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, consultative and organizational abilities.
*Problem‑Solving*
- Diagnostic skills for complex technical issues; creative, customer‑focused solutions.
*Tools*
- CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot); Jira; Postman or similar API/testing tools.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent) preferred.
- QA‑automation credentials highly desirable.
**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years in SaaS implementation engineering, solutions engineering, or technical account management.
- Background as a QA automation architect/engineer with customer facing experience is acceptable.
- Proven track record managing end‑to‑end customer lifecycles from onboarding to renewal.
