Job title: Electrical Interface Engineer (EIA) F/H
Role Summary:
Support and lead electrical interface activities for industrial projects across energy, chemical, pharma, oil & gas, and food sectors. Engage in requirement definition, schematic design, supplier coordination, design reviews, PLC programming, on‑site commissioning, and safety compliance.
Expectations:
* Deliver accurate and compliant electrical interface documentation.
* Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, including tenders and FATs.
* Ensure adherence to electrical and safety standards (IEC, ATEX, NFC 15‑100).
* Provide technical expertise during design reviews and field commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft and revise specifications, functional and technical requirements.
2. Produce or supervise electrical studies: schematics, routing, cable layout.
3. Coordinate suppliers/subcontractors: consultation, RFQs, evaluations, FATs.
4. Participate in design reviews, technical checks, and cost estimations.
5. Program and tune PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell) and HMI configuration.
6. Oversee or perform site tests, start‑up, and hand‑over to operations.
7. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and ATEX regulations.
Required Skills:
* Electrical design tools: EPLAN, SEE Electrical, AutoCAD.
* PLC programming: Siemens (TIA Portal), Schneider (EcoStruxure), Rockwell (Studio 5000).
* Deep understanding of electrical standards (NFC 15‑100, IEC 60079 series).
* Experience with industrial automation and instrumentation.
* Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and problem‑solving abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor‑level engineering degree (Bac + 5) in electrical engineering, electrotechnical engineering, automation, instrumentation, or related field.
* Professional certifications in electrical design or PLC programming are a plus.
* Familiarity with ATEX regulatory framework preferred.
Mobility: Regular travel to the Grand Est region and site visits required.
