Job title: Platform Engineer
Role Summary: Design, build, and own a scalable, cloud‑native platform that powers AI agent workers for procurement and supply chain solutions. Lead multi‑tenant, multi‑cloud architecture using IaC and GitOps, ensuring rapid delivery, high observability, reliability, and security.
Expectations: • Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure.
• Proven experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to design and implement production‑grade infrastructure using IaC.
• Strong communication with engineering and business stakeholders.
• Rapidly turn loosely defined problems into production‑ready architecture.
• Champion automation, security, and compliance as differentiators.
Key Responsibilities: • Architect and maintain a multi‑tenant, multi‑cloud platform following IaC and GitOps best practices.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and AI‑assisted tooling for code reviews, security, and compliance.
• Manage production clusters at scale, ensuring high availability, observability, and resilience.
• Implement security controls, identity federation, and compliance frameworks across the stack.
• Drive observability through metrics, logs, alerts, and dashboards.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring tasks.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate secure delivery practices.
• Continuously assess and recommend enhancements to architecture and tooling.
Required Skills: • AWS or Azure architecture and services.
• Docker, Kubernetes (kubeadm, EKS, AKS, GKE).
• IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• GitOps and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
• Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki).
• Security best practices, identity federation, compliance standards.
• Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• AI/ML infrastructure awareness; experience with agent‑assisted development.
• Strong problem‑solving, architecture design, and communication.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent.
