**Job Title** Early Career Software/Computer Science Engineer **Role Summary** Support engineering projects in clean energy by designing, developing, testing, and evaluating software and computational solutions. Work under mentoring to apply standard techniques, adapt designs, and resolve field and quality issues. **Expectations** - Execute standard engineering tasks within a multidisciplinary team. - Develop a working knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. - Apply judgement to adapt engineering procedures as needed. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and test software components for engineering applications. - Conduct analyses, evaluations, and simulations to support project goals. - Prepare technical specifications and documentation. - Assist in field tasks, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. - Participate in quality event investigations and corrective actions. - Use CAD modeling tools and programming languages as required. - Stay current with government regulations, industry standards, and customer specifications. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in computer programming (e.g., Python, C++, Java). - Experience with CAD modeling software. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Ability to apply engineering principles and standard techniques. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering Technology, or Engineering Science. - Relevant coursework in programming, CAD, and system design. - No specific certifications required, but familiarity with engineering standards is favorable.
