Job Description
**Job title** Intern – Sales Development Representative (SDR) **Role Summary** Support the M&A advisory team by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective sellers, buyers, and non-projected SMEs. Drive outbound outreach, schedule meetings for senior account managers, and manage the prospect pipeline within the CRM until mandate signing. **Expectations** - Complete a 6‑month internship with a focus on B2B sales and financial services. - Deliver a high volume of outbound calls (≈150 per day). - Progress prospects from initial contact to signed mandate, collaborating closely with senior deal‑makers. - Continuously refine prospect segmentation and prospecting processes. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify and segment potential prospects (sellers, buyers, non‑projects). 2. Execute daily outbound calling campaigns (phone and video) to uncover acquisition or divestiture opportunities. 3. Schedule introductory meetings and prepare senior account managers for strategic calls. 4. Build and maintain a robust, data‑driven prospect pipeline in the CRM. 5. Monitor prospect progression and update CRM records up to mandate execution. 6. Participate in pipeline reviews and contribute to prospecting process improvements. **Required Skills** - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable with telephone and video outreach. - Self‑motivation, resilience, and the ability to manage high call volume. - Basic understanding of sales conversion metrics and pipeline management. - Attention to detail and proficiency with CRM systems (preferred). - Ability to quickly learn industry terminology and complex product concepts. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in a Master’s program (first or second year) or completion of a master’s degree. - Prior experience in customer‑facing roles (retail, hospitality, events, or similar) is advantageous but not mandatory.
