Job Description
Job Title: Server Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems and services. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA, and support teams to deliver high‑quality features and continuous improvements. Expactations: Deliver robust server‑side functionality, maintain live production environments, and provide on‑call support when needed. Actively contribute to architectural decisions, code quality, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain server‑side features using C#/.NET. - Design scalable, secure microservices and REST APIs on AWS. - Manage and optimize SQL, NoSQL databases, and caching layers (Redis). - Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins). - Deploy, monitor, and maintain production environments. - Build internal tools for QA and customer support teams. - Contribute to technical planning, architecture, and code quality reviews. - Participate in on‑call rotation and incident response. Required Skills: - Proven C#/.NET experience in a live services environment. - Deep understanding of AWS services, serverless architecture, containers (ECS, Lambda), and infrastructure‑as‑code tools. - Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event‑driven architectures. - Solid knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and production deployment workflows. - Familiarity with observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing). - Strong debugging, performance profiling, and testing capabilities. - Calm, pragmatic problem‑solving mindset for production issues. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or AWS Certified Developer – Associate (preferred).
