Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineer – Back Office Technologies **Role Summary:** A full‑stack developer responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying application systems that drive innovation and customer satisfaction in FinTech. Works with business stakeholders, architects, and Agile teams to create prototypes, POCs, and production‑grade solutions, while shaping the technology strategy and roadmap. **Expectations:** - 7–10 yrs of software development experience in C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Node.js. - 2+ yrs with AngularJS/ReactJS, ETL, and Agile methods. - Proven background in transactional and big‑data environments. - Cloud experience (AWS preferred) and familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Jira. - Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Master/PhD preferred). **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead design, development, testing, implementation, and support of full‑stack solutions across the tech stack. - Build and refine prototypes and POCs, integrating state‑of‑the‑art tools and technologies. - Conduct application rationalization, road‑mapping, and architecture planning with Enterprise Architects. - Participate in visioning, strategy discussions, and innovation workshops. - Write clean, testable code and perform rigorous code reviews, ensuring adherence to VCI standards and quality guidelines. - Create and maintain non‑functional specifications (security, performance, logging, monitoring). - Document architecture, design decisions, deployment procedures, and support documentation. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with business partners, architects, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Manage the full technology project life cycle: analysis, design, development, QA, deployment, and production support. - Escalate risks and issues promptly, providing status reports to stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Full‑stack development (client‑side & server‑side). - Cloud (AWS) deployment, provisioning, and DevOps/CI‑CD pipelines. - Version control (Git/GitHub), issue tracking (Jira). - Front‑end frameworks: AngularJS, ReactJS. - Back‑end: Node.js, Java, C#, Python, J2EE, .NET, Rails. - API design: REST, GraphQL. - Databases: relational (MySQL, Oracle, SQLServer) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, HBase). - Transactional and big‑data processing. - Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Experience in UI/UX prototype design. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Master’s or PhD in Computer Science (optional). - Certifications are not mandatory but AWS Developer/Architect and related credentials are advantageous.
