Job Description
**Job title** AI Engineer **Role summary** Design, develop, and ship AI‑driven security features that automatically detect, remediate, and teach developers about vulnerabilities in real‑time IDE and CI/CD pipelines. Work closely with product, backend, and data teams to move from PoC to production, ensuring rigorous testing and measurable improvements. **Expectations** - Junior to mid‑level engineer with strong Python and software engineering fundamentals. - Comfortable working in a cross‑functional product engineering environment, delivering production‑grade code quickly. - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain automated evaluation pipelines and production metrics. **Key responsibilities** - Implement AI capabilities (LLMs, RAG, agent‑based assistants) using Python 3.12, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, and LLM proxies. - Detect and fix security flaws in IDE and CI/CD pipelines; create fixes that are suggested and applied automatically. - Securely handle code data, build synthetic datasets of good/bad code, and curate training data for continuous model improvement. - Develop systems that mitigate vulnerabilities introduced by generative tools such as GitHub Copilot. - Create and maintain rigorous testing and evaluation frameworks to measure model performance and remediation quality. - Collaborate with backend engineers (PostgreSQL, hexagonal architecture) and the CTO to scale solutions to production. - Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and production monitoring to ensure high reliability. **Required skills** - Mastery of Python, clean code principles, and unit/integration testing. - Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLM) – retrieval‑augmented generation, agent orchestration, systematic evaluation. - Familiarity with AWS services (Bedrock, related compute/storage). - Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and modern architecture patterns (hexagonal, event‑driven). - Ability to design synthetic data pipelines and evaluate AI models quantitatively. - Strong communication in English and French (full professional proficiency). **Required education & certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related rigorous scientific field. - Preferably from a top‑tier institution or equivalent experience. - No mandatory certifications, but knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and LLM frameworks is a plus.
