Job Description
Job title: Data & Carbon Analyst Role Summary: Analyze and validate operational and supply‑chain data to build accurate carbon footprints using international standards. Identify emission drivers, model reduction levers, and produce clear visual reports for clients. Maintain project documentation and continuously improve tools and methods. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality data analytics and reporting on time. - Communicate insights effectively to non‑technical audiences. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. - Demonstrate continuous learning and curiosity in sustainability. Key Responsibilities: - Gather and validate operational and supply‑chain data from clients and suppliers. - Construct carbon footprints in line with recognised international standards. - Evaluate and model data to identify key emission drivers and strategic reduction levers. - Create concise reports and visuals that translate complex data into actionable insights. - Update project information, refine tools, and share learnings with the team. - Communicate with clients via email and internal platforms in a professional, friendly manner. Required Skills: - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; strong formula and data‑tool knowledge. - Analytical mindset with effective problem‑solving and proactive approach. - Clear written and verbal communication, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. - Ability to manage workload across multiple projects and deadlines. - Quick learner, adaptable, and highly curious about sustainability subjects. Required Education & Certifications: - Undergraduate degree or equivalent training in sustainability, data analytics, finance, or related field (degree preferred but not mandatory). - Any certifications related to carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, or life‑cycle assessment are a plus. ---
