Job Description

Job Title: Salesforce Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions that integrate with enterprise applications. Deliver full lifecycle development, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability. Expectations: - 5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development. - Proven ability to architect complex Apex codebases and APIs. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present technical concepts to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end‑to‑end development lifecycle: backlog refinement, architectural design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Develop and maintain Apex controllers, triggers, and batch processes. - Build and manage REST, BULK, and Platform Event integrations between Salesforce and external systems. - Create comprehensive unit and regression test suites, manage bug resolution. - Optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Administer and own Salesforce environments (production, sandboxes) and handle release management. - Stay updated on Salesforce releases; recommend new features to enhance capabilities. - Collaborate with Product, Portfolio Management, and Operations teams to deliver tailored solutions. Required Skills: - Apex programming (including triggers, batch classes, integration patterns). - Salesforce API usage (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming). - Integration design (REST, SOAP, middleware). - Unit and regression testing (Test classes, assert statements). - Version control (Git) and CI/CD practices. - AWS services (preferred). - Python (preferred). - Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to lead technical discussions. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. - Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications (preferred). - Any relevant integration or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.
