Summer Internship – UK Investing (2026)
**Role Summary**
A 10‑week internship for penultimate‑year students to gain hands‑on experience as a fundamental investor. Interns work in London with the Real Estate and Specialty Lending teams, conducting due diligence, financial modelling, industry research, and preparing investment memoranda to support investment decisions.
**Expectations**
- Current penultimate‑year BA/BSc, MA/MSc student, enrolling in an accredited program.
- Expected graduation Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Strong academic record (honours indicated).
- Relevant coursework or prior internship in investments, financial markets, or corporate finance.
- Demonstrated work ethic, professionalism, teamwork, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and high ethical standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Research and analyze target companies and industries across debt and equity asset classes.
2. Build, maintain, and refine financial models in Excel (DCF, comparable analysis, sensitivity, capital‑structure, cash‑flow forecasting).
3. Conduct due‑diligence on investment opportunities, including valuation, risk assessment, and market‑conditions analysis.
4. Draft investment memoranda summarizing financial findings, strategic fit, and expected returns.
5. Collaborate with senior analysts and management on deal execution, monitoring, and portfolio oversight.
6. Support team‑specific needs (e.g., real‑estate acquisition metrics, specialty‑lending credit analysis).
**Required Skills**
- Advanced Excel modelling and financial analysis.
- DCF, comparable, and sensitivity analysis techniques.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into concise reports.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- BA/BSc or MA/MSc in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
- Accredited university program with enrollment verified.
