**Job Title**
Brand Manager
**Role Summary**
Owns end‑to‑end launch and ongoing management of AFFLELOU eyewear collections across two retail brands. Drives marketing, merchandising, digital and retail activities to maximize product visibility, sales performance and brand consistency.
**Expectations**
- Deliver on-time launch plans and sustained performance for new collections
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners (photo, press, digital)
- Maintain accurate, compelling content across all touchpoints
- Optimize product mix and promotional priorities using data and market insights
- Ensure budget discipline and accurate financial reporting
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Launch Management** – Plan and execute marketing launches: create content, photo shoots, product sheets, email news, social, web, trade‑marketing visibility for both ALAIN AFFLELOU and MAGIC Afflelou.
2. **Digital & Retail Collateral** – Write and upload product descriptions, run packshot shoots, update web catalogue, provide assets for social and press.
3. **Sales Enablement** – Develop leaflets, videos, and other sales‑support tools.
4. **Merchandising** – Update monthly plannograms, item assortments, and supply plans for store openings and renovations.
5. **Showroom & Inventory Control** – Oversee showroom set‑up, manage returns of discontinued frames, track stock‑level visuals.
6. **Performance Analysis** – Report collection/sales KPIs, benchmark competitors, and advise product teams on optimizations.
7. **Promotion Management** – Control exposure on CALL2 platform (best‑seller listings, featured offers).
8. **Budget & Finance** – Validate quotes, issue purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and close budgets with accounting.
**Required Skills**
- Strategic marketing & launch planning
- Content creation (copy, photography, visual assets)
- Project management and deadline delivery
- Strong analytical ability (sales reporting, benchmarking)
- Collaboration with merchandising, e‑commerce, and finance teams
- Digital proficiency: CMS, e‑commerce back‑office, social media, email marketing
- Basic photo/video editing (Adobe suite or similar)
- Fluent in French and English (written & spoken)
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s or equivalent (Bac +5) in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Prior experience (1–3 years) in a Brand or Product Marketing role, preferably in retail or consumer goods
