Job title: ERP Senior PeopleSoft Security Administrator
Role Summary:
Senior professional responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining comprehensive security within the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) environment. Focuses on user profiles, role definitions, permission sets, and multi‑layered security controls across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, and Absence modules. Works on fluid security in 9.2, dynamic and row‑level security, and ensures secure deployment across multiple environments.
Expectations:
- Deliver expert security administration for PeopleSoft HCM 9.1/9.2 over a long‑term contract.
- Collaborate with PHIRE, JIRA, and Oracle 19+ environments to manage tickets, version control, and deployment pipelines.
- Mentor and guide stakeholders on security best practices and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and optimize user profiles, roles, permission lists, and security definitions (including paging, application, process group, query, and project security).
- Implement row‑level, dynamic, and fluid security for Time & Labor, Absence Management, HR, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
- Review and refine existing security objects; build recommendations to align with user access needs.
- Maintain and document security landscapes across test, QA, and production systems.
- Facilitate migration of security objects between environments, ensuring consistency and audit readiness.
- Conduct periodic security audits, remediate findings, and produce compliance reports.
- Interface with cross‑functional teams (HR, payroll, compliance) to gather security requirements and validate access models.
- Manage PHIRE version control operations and JIRA ticket workflows related to security changes.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM implementation and support.
- Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and 9.2 security architecture.
- Proven expertise with PHIRE, JIRA, and Oracle 19+ databases.
- 5+ years configuring advanced security (row‑level, dynamic, fluid, query, project, department tree, etc.).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with environment migration and version control for security objects.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent 5+ years corporate IT experience.
- PeopleSoft HCM security certifications (e.g., PeopleSoft HCM Security Certified Professional) preferred.
