Job Description
Job title: Event & Marketing Intern Role Summary: Intern supports Anthem Group’s live‑entertainment, event production, experiential marketing, placemaking and hospitality projects. Works on marketing campaigns, event planning, site research, graphic content, and onsite operational support across flagship venues such as The Anchor. Expectations: - Complete internship term January – mid‑May (hybrid). - Contribute to at least one active campaign or event each quarter. - Deliver research, marketing, and operational outputs on schedule. - Collaborate with senior staff and external partners. - Create and present own event concept prototype for evaluation. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market, client, and venue location research. - Assist in vetting new event venues, boutique hotels, and related ventures. - Create and coordinate mixed‑media marketing and digital campaigns. - Support event concept development, program design, and scheduling. - Produce graphic collateral: social media posts, flyers, presentations (knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud preferred). - Provide on‑site logistical support: setup, talent liaison, vendor coordination, hospitality services. - Implement placemaking best practices and live‑event production techniques. - Collect and submit post‑event data and insights for continuous improvement. - Collaborate with project managers and coordinators to meet event objectives. - Ideate, plan, and execute a mini‑event or program concept under mentorship. Required Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication. - Basic graphic design proficiency (Canva, Adobe). - Social media marketing awareness. - Project organization and multitasking. - Adaptability to hybrid remote/in‑person work. - Team collaboration and stakeholder liaison. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program, or recent graduate. - Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred but not mandatory). - No specific certifications required; familiarity with event‑management or marketing tools is a plus. ✔ Unpaid internship; eligible for college credit.
