Job Title: Sales Intern Role Summary: An entry‑level, apprenticeship‑style role focused on learning the full sales cycle and product portfolio. Interns support Business Development and Account Management functions, perform basic prospecting and outreach, document customer interactions, and gain cross‑departmental insight with the goal of progressing into a full‑time Business Development Manager. Expectations: - Commit to a 40‑hour/week schedule (May–August 2026). - Attend office onsite 3×/week. - Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a strong desire to grow into a sales/business‑development career. Key Responsibilities: 1. Learn product and service portfolio, pricing, and company updates. 2. Shadow Business Development Managers and Account Managers on customer meetings. 3. Conduct basic lead identification, gather market information, and support prospecting. 4. Execute introductory outreach calls and emails to warm or cold prospects (no active selling). 5. Qualify prospects, identify needs, and relay information to the sales team. 6. Participate in marketing and sales initiatives as assigned. 7. Enter and update data in CRM, track leads, and document interactions. 8. Observe and understand the complete sales cycle for future application. Required Skills: - Strong verbal and written communication. - Basic MS Excel proficiency and data organization. - Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail. - Collaborative mindset and ability to build cross‑functional relationships. - Familiarity with CRM concepts (Salesforce) is a plus. - Professionalism, initiative, and willingness to ask questions. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in a 4‑year bachelor’s program in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, or related field. - No additional certifications required.
