Job Description
**Job Title** Night Receptionist **Role Summary** Provide 24/7 front‑desk operations for a hybrid hotel‑hostel establishment, ensuring seamless check‑in/check‑out, guest service, cash handling, and inter‑departmental coordination while maintaining safety and security protocols. **Expectations** - Deliver friendly, personalized guest interactions to drive satisfaction and loyalty. - Accurately process reservations, payments, and billing. - Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure availability of all necessary supplies. - Uphold safety standards and protect guests and property. **Key Responsibilities** - Receive and handle all incoming telephone inquiries and reservations. - Conduct guest check‑in and check‑out following internal procedures. - Inform guests about residence policies, available services, and hotel amenities. - Communicate effectively with team members across all departments. - Manage the daily cash register: process payments, verify cash, and close the register. - Prepare and send customer invoices and ensure accurate billing records. - Monitor and replenish front‑desk supplies and documents. - Enforce security rules and maintain the safety of guests and property. - Promote future stays and upsell hotel services to increase RevPAR. - Support ancillary services (e.g., breakfast, evening events) when required. **Required Skills** - Fluency in French and English (written and oral). - Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build rapport. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Commercial awareness: ability to upsell and apply pricing strategies. - Cash‑handling accuracy and meticulous record‑keeping. - Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Positive, upbeat demeanor and adaptability to night‑shift schedule. **Required Education & Certifications** - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). - Hospitality or customer‑service certification is a plus. ---
