Job Title:
Senior DevSecOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Lead the design, automation, and operation of AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing security, resilience, and scalability. Mentor engineering teams, drive best practices in IaC, cloud-native deployments, and cross-functional collaboration.
Expactations:
- US Citizen or Green Card holder, eligibility for Public Trust clearance.
- 8+ years of software development experience; 7+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Proven expertise in AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Python.
- Demonstrated ability to architect secure, containerized solutions using modern CI/CD and IaC.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate AWS provisioning and build IaC using Terraform (and CloudFormation).
- Design, develop, unit test, and conduct code reviews for automation workflows and pipelines.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Provide technical direction and mentorship on pipeline management, automation, and development best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, leadership, vendors, and other engineering teams to communicate solutions and solve complex challenges.
Required Skills:
- Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, etc.)
- Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD, IaC, cloud-native deployment pipelines
- Python scripting
- Architecture and deployment of containerized services
- Leadership, mentoring, strong communication
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
