Contribute to both backend and frontend (React) projects, ensuring scalable, reliable solutions across a large, distributed system of over 1,000 endpoints. **Expectations** - 1–5 years of backend or full‑stack engineering experience. - Strong computer science fundamentals and an independent builder mindset. - Proven experience with distributed systems, APIs, or infrastructure‑heavy products. - Comfortable tackling ambiguous technical challenges. - Willingness to embrace early‑stage risk and deliver high impact work. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and scale backend services that unify fragmented construction software through a standardized API. - Interface with legacy systems (SQL, DLL, API‑based) to modernize data flow. - Design and implement scalable features such as pagination, filtering, authentication, and caching across dozens of systems. - Contribute to frontend (React) projects that dog‑food the platform’s own API. - Develop and maintain a robust testing and release pipeline for >1,000 API endpoints. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in backend development (e.g., Go, Java, Python, Node.js). - API design and implementation expertise. - Experience with distributed systems architecture. - Strong SQL and database experience. - Knowledge of caching mechanisms, pagination, and authentication patterns. - Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment pipelines. - Frontend development skills in React (preferred). - Excellent problem‑solving and independent working style. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
