Job Description
Job Title: Epic Security Analyst – Remote Role Summary: Provide intermediate-level design, build, and implementation of Epic Security solutions for medium‑to‑large projects. Conduct workflow analysis, translate business requirements into functional configurations, and ensure high‑quality documentation, testing, and user support. Expectations: - Minimum 2 years of direct Epic Security design, build, or implementation experience. - Epic Security Certification required; additional Epic certifications (Ambulatory, Inpatient, Revenue Cycle) preferred. - Ability to juggle multiple priorities, proactively drive risk mitigation, and collaborate across cross‑functional teams. - Project management experience highly preferred; understanding of change control, migration, and ticket‑management processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analyze and document operational workflows, translating business needs into system specifications and configuration requirements for Epic Security. 2. Design, build, test, and deploy Epic Security features within Ambulatory, Inpatient, or Revenue Cycle modules. 3. Facilitate end‑user and business owner engagement to refine requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals. 4. Manage migration paths, change control governance, and ticket‑management activities related to Epic Security projects. 5. Produce comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and end‑user training materials. 6. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide timely escalation when necessary. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Epic Security design and implementation, with functional knowledge of Ambulatory, Inpatient, and Revenue Cycle modules. - Strong analytical and documentation abilities; experience in workflow analysis and system configuration. - Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills for cross‑functional collaboration. - Project management competency: planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and change control. - Ability to perform under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver solutions that meet quality and security standards.
