**Job title:** Head of CRM and Low‑Code Platform & Product Engineering
**Role summary:**
Lead the modernization and integration of CRM and low‑code platforms (Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Salesforce) across the UK and India. Build and steer engineering teams, implement agile delivery, and drive continuous improvement in software quality, observability, and reliability. Own product strategy, road‑mapping, and operational excellence for customer‑facing technology.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver a unified CRM and low‑code platform that powers sales, service, insights, and digital experiences.
- Expand in‑house engineering capability (60–80 FTE) by hiring, coaching, and retaining senior managers and engineers.
- Transition from outsourced to in‑house delivery while maintaining continuity and compliance.
- Embed modern engineering practices (CI/CD, trunk‑based development, automation, observability) to accelerate releases and reduce incidents.
**Key responsibilities:**
1. Define technical vision and strategy for CRM and low‑code platforms.
2. Build, coach, and lead high‑performing teams in the UK and India; hire up to six senior engineering managers.
3. Establish platform teams for Power Platform/Dynamics, Salesforce, and Data; implement agile product ways of working.
4. Own product management for CRM and low‑code platforms – strategy, delivery, and support.
5. Drive adoption of CI/CD, trunk‑based development, test automation, and reliability engineering.
6. Introduce observability practices to improve monitoring, incident response, and service performance.
7. Manage transition from outsourced to in‑house engineering, ensuring continuity and compliance.
**Required skills:**
- Proven senior engineering leadership (30+ FTE, multiple managers).
- Deep technical expertise in CRM/low‑code architecture and customization.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and Azure Cloud.
- Strong background in modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, automation, cloud, reliability engineering).
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Inclusive leadership with hiring, coaching, and diverse team development.
**Required education & certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional certifications in CRM, low‑code, or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform – Solution Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect) preferred but not mandatory.
