Job Description: Job title: Team Lead AI Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML products, fostering cross‑functional collaboration to align technical delivery with business strategy while mentoring a small engineering team. Expactations: Deliver end‑to‑end AI solutions, maintain high model quality, ensure privacy & security compliance, and drive continuous innovation within a remote, contract‑based environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, fine‑tune, and deploy AI/ML and NLP models, including conversational agents. - Architect and integrate AI‑powered workflows across cloud platforms. - Establish benchmarking, testing frameworks, and model monitoring for continuous improvement. - Define and communicate engineering vision and product road‑map, aligning with business objectives. - Mentor, coach, and assess engineering hires to build a culture of innovation and accountability. - Collaborate with product, data science, and executive leaders to prioritize initiatives. - Evaluate emerging AI/ML research and integrate relevant technologies. - Ensure adherence to privacy regulations, responsible AI guidelines, and enterprise security standards. Required Skills: - Proven end‑to‑end experience designing, training, and deploying AI/ML models. - Deep expertise in NLP, conversational AI, and agent‑based architectures. - Advanced proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch. - Cloud deployment, scalable system design, and CI/CD pipeline knowledge. - Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities. - Excellent written and spoken English (C1+). - Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and metrics. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Cloud AI/ML, Microsoft Azure AI) are preferred but not mandatory.
