Job Description
**Job title** Linux/Unix Administrator – Backend PHP & Connectors **Role Summary** Maintain, troubleshoot, and extend API connectors on Linux/Unix systems using PHP 8/Symfony 6 and AWS Lambda. Provide tier‑2 technical support, analyze synchronization anomalies, and contribute to new connector development. **Expectations** * Active involvement in connector lifecycle management and incident resolution. * Quick response to critical connector incidents. * Documentation of solutions for knowledge base enrichment. * Collaboration with client teams and internal stakeholders in French. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Connector Maintenance (≈40%)** - Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on reverse‑engineered or API‑integrated connectors. - Monitor existing connectors, identify and resolve failures promptly. - Update connectors to accommodate changes in third‑party APIs or exchange protocols. 2. **Tier‑2 Technical Support (≈50%)** - Analyze and resolve incidents escalated from level‑1 support. - Investigate data synchronization discrepancies (e.g., salary mismatches, missing data). - Document solutions and update knowledge base. - Liaise with customers or internal teams to clarify business issues. 3. **Connector Development (≈10%)** - Participate in creating new connectors as needed. - Conduct reverse engineering of new web and non‑web APIs. - Enhance internal tools and methodologies. **Required Skills** - Advanced PHP 8 and Symfony 6 (best practices). - Serverless AWS Lambda architecture (experience with bref.sh or equivalents). - Network traffic analysis/interception (MITMproxy or similar). - Deep understanding of custom/proprietary exchange protocols. - Ability to dissect undocumented APIs. - Proficient debugging, log analysis, and rapid root‑cause identification. - Minimum 3 years backend PHP development with substantial application maintenance and technical support experience. - French language fluency (both spoken and written). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications in PHP/Symfony, AWS Lambda, or Linux administration are a plus.
