**Job Title:** Project Controller
**Role Summary:**
Senior Project Controller responsible for managing financial controls across a portfolio of capital projects. Duties include forecasting, risk analysis, budgeting, and reporting using advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to deliver accurate, actionable insights for project teams and executive stakeholders.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver precise cost and schedule forecasts and maintain continuous improvement.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and execution risks.
- Utilize AI and advanced analytics to enhance forecast accuracy and early-warning detection.
- Translate complex data into clear, stakeholder‑friendly reports and dashboards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, maintain, and refine cost and schedule forecasts using historical trends, risk inputs, and performance data.
- Apply quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, scenario modeling, and impact assessment.
- Identify financial and execution risks; recommend mitigation strategies and evaluate forecast impact.
- Leverage AI‑enabled systems and advanced analytics for variance detection and early‑warning indicators.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for project teams.
- Lead core project control activities: budgeting, forecasting, change management, risk assessment, monthly financials (accruals, invoice verification), progress & performance tracking, data accuracy, financial calendar management, and reporting.
- Translate analytics into actionable insights for project and executive stakeholders.
- Serve as trusted advisor to business leads and active project team member.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine governance protocols and support stage‑gate requirements.
- Contribute to business case development, cost forecasting, KPI measurement, and benefits tracking.
**Required Skills:**
- Forecasting & Risk Management: scenario analysis, trend analysis, EAC/EFC development.
- Advanced Analytics: data modeling, predictive insights, visualization, Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, dashboards).
- AI‑Enabled Project Controls: automation, intelligent analytics, emerging AI tools.
- Financial & Cost Management: budgeting, variance analysis, change control, performance measurement.
- Technical Proficiency: SAP, Oracle, Power BI, MS Excel, and other project/cost control systems.
- Communication & Influence: executive‑level reporting, stakeholder engagement, data storytelling.
- Governance & Assurance: stage gating, risk reviews, contract compliance, readiness assessments, audit support.
- Client‑Focused Mindset: deliver reliable insights for confident, timely decisions.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certification such as PMP, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP/Oracle and advanced Power BI skills required.
