Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Software Sales Executive **Role Summary** Own end‑to‑end sales cycle for enterprise software solutions, generating new leads, qualifying opportunities, driving proposals and closing deals. Partner with clients as a trusted technology advisor, ensuring solutions meet business needs while meeting revenue, margin, and renewal targets. **Expectations** - Deliver continuous pipeline and close small‑ to mid‑size deals independently; support senior sales in large contracts. - Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and gross margin objectives. - Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM records, and reporting. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect and generate leads via cold‑calling, networking, and other outreach. - Assess client requirements, develop tailored solutions, and position the company’s offerings. - Lead bid preparation, proposal writing, and accuracy of the contract package. - Negotiate terms and close deals; support Sales Manager on high‑value negotiations. - Serve as single point of contact during project kickoff through post‑sale support. - Perform ongoing account management: market analysis, risk assessment, upsell/cross‑sell planning. - Utilize CRM to record activities, generate sales reports, and provide ad‑hoc analyses. - Build relationships with C‑suite, CIO/CTO, and finance executives; coordinate with marketing for lead generation events. - Attend trade shows and technical events to promote products and secure new leads. - Collaborate with project and operations teams to maintain customer satisfaction and renewal rates. **Required Skills** - Proven B2B software sales experience, including enterprise IT solutions. - End‑to‑end sales cycle knowledge: prospecting, qualifying, proposal, negotiation, closing. - Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills. - Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics). - Analytical mindset for pipeline forecasting, margin management, and competitive intelligence. - Ability to translate technical capabilities into business benefits for non‑technical stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of software sales experience. - Experience selling customized enterprise IT solutions; familiarity with digital transformation initiatives. - Relevant sales or technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Sales Professional, Certified ScrumMaster) are advantageous.
