**Job Title:** Head of Marketing
**Role Summary:** Senior leader responsible for devising and executing a data‑driven, end‑to‑end marketing strategy that drives user acquisition, engagement, and retention for a global digital entertainment marketplace. Leads a team of 7, manages multi‑channel budgets, and collaborates with product, operations, finance, and executive peers to meet aggressive growth and profitability targets.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver measurable growth in users and revenue through performance and brand marketing.
- Define, track, and report key marketing metrics to senior leadership.
- Optimize budget allocation across paid search, paid social, SEO, CRM, email, and affiliate channels to maximize ROI.
- Build and mentor a high‑performing marketing team while fostering a strong brand voice and creative output.
- Align marketing initiatives with product roadmap and cross‑functional objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategy & Leadership** – Create and own the comprehensive marketing plan; set KPIs; provide direction and career development for the marketing team.
2. **Performance & Growth Marketing** – Oversee all digital acquisition channels (PPC, paid social, SEO, email, affiliate); manage channel budgets; conduct ROI analysis and optimization.
3. **Brand & Content** – Develop consistent brand messaging; lead integrated campaigns; supervise content creation, creative production, and testing across owned channels.
4. **Collaboration** – Partner with Product to inform roadmap using market insights; coordinate with Supply, Operations, and Customer Service for seamless user experience; work with Finance to ensure fiscal discipline.
5. **Reporting** – Produce regular performance dashboards and executive presentations; translate analytics into actionable recommendations.
**Required Skills:**
- 7+ years senior marketing experience, preferably in digital marketplaces, e‑commerce, or SaaS.
- Proven track record of scaling user acquisition and revenue through performance marketing.
- Deep expertise in SEO, PPC, paid social, email/CRM, affiliate marketing, and web analytics (Google Analytics or equivalent).
- Strong analytical ability; comfortable turning complex data into strategic actions.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills; adept at creative direction and design sense.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling marketing teams; effective mentorship and people management.
- Budget management and financial acumen for multi‑channel spend.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint) are advantageous but not mandatory.
