IT Cloud DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines primarily using Microsoft Azure, with support for AWS workloads. Act as a strategic partner to application and operations teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
**Expectations**

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable repeatable, automated deployments.
- Maintain compliance with health‑care regulations (HIPAA, CMS) and cybersecurity standards (NIST).
- Collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Architect, build, and manage Azure cloud resources (IaaS, PaaS, AKS, App Services) using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) and support AWS components (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
3. Configure and maintain multi‑cloud networking (VNETs, VPNs, DNS, routing, firewalls).
4. Implement IaC best practices for secure, version‑controlled infrastructure deployments.
5. Monitor system performance and health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; respond to incidents.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and runtime issues in collaboration with application and operations teams.
7. Ensure all systems meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
8. Provide operational support for critical services and participate in on‑call rotations as needed.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, AKS, App Services).
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards).
- Strong Terraform (IaC) experience.
- Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
- Networking fundamentals: DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, VNETs.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Monitoring and logging tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
- CI/CD best practices and source‑code management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3–5 years in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104).
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
- Optional: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
